(Crankers) X just set the Internet on fire when Elon had a new feature turned on that would display all the foreign agitators stirring things up in American politics.
X’s new feature is located under the “About this Account” section and shows things like where they were when the account signed up, where they are based, when they signed up, how many times they changed username, and some other information that would let you know just how authentic an account really is – or if they bought some dipsy Justin Bieber fan page and then turned into a MAGA or Biden supporter who lives somewhere like Nigeria or Macedonia.
Facebook kinda does this too with the name change information, but I’m not sure if they tell you where we are, or where we signed up from. They leave a spot for us to say where we’re from, but who’s really being honest on that?
I know Facebook requires you to be in a tier one country to monetize your page, so there’s that’
At the end of the day, every social media platform should say where a user is from or if they’re using a VPN. This would show us who’s legit and who’s just chirping like a broken bird sitting on a broken record player.
And when you see who’s yapping about American politics while they’re sitting in a dumpster in Somalia, then you can happily tell them to STFU and GFY.
