Republican Winsome Sears throws ‘Trump 2024’ under the bus

(Crankers) Republican Winsome Sears has officially disavowed Donald Trump and said she will absolutely not support a Trump 2024 campaign if Donald Trump decides to run for president in the 2024 election. Sears scolded him not long after Trump suffered a midterm meltdown where he attacked Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis and later attacked Glen Youngkin.

Sears said, “a true leader understands when they have become a liability. A true leader understands that it’s time to step off the stage, and the voters have given us that very clear message… I could not support him.”

Trump still hasn’t announced his plans, but many think he will make some sort of 2024 announcement on November 14. The former president has dropped hints suggesting he’s running, but it’s all rumors until there is an official announcement.

As previously reported, former President Donald Trump is still not ruling out an announcement about a 2024 presidential campaign, but he is reportedly fuming over the Republican Party’s failure to produce a red wave. In the midterm elections, the twice-impeached former president’s hand-picked GOP candidates largely flopped.

Jim Acosta from CNN said that leaves Trump and his inner circle pointing fingers at one another. Raw Story reported on what Jim Acosta reported: “’Trump is livid’ and ‘screaming at everyone,’ after last night’s disappointing midterm results for GOP, according to a Trump adviser.”

WATCH Winsome Sears talk poorly of a Trump 2024 campaign:

“A true leader understands when they have become a liability. A true leader understands that it’s time to step off the stage, and the voters have given us that very clear message… I could not support him.”
