(Crankers) Future ‘border czar’ Tom Homan challenges Democrat mayors and governors who plan to defy Donald Trump regarding illegal immigrants. Homan suggested that the Biden administration “has turned the world upside down” in various ways. Some of those ways are with relations to other countries, or even the economy – but more importantly how the border was run for the last four years.
Homan plans to be tough on illegal immigration and now he’s facing threats from Democrats who say they’ll defy Donald Trump orders, even going so far as spending taxpayer money to help the illegal immigrants. The mayor of Frederick, in Maryland, suggested using taxpayer money to cover the legal bills of the illegal immigrants and immediately faced criticism from voters.
Homan continued talking about what’s going on with his family, all because Homan wants to do a good job and do what’s right by the American people. Homan said, “I got death threats. My family’s not even living in my home right now. All of a sudden, the guys who want to enforce the law are the bad guys, the guys who break the law are the victims.”
Homan further said, “To those mayors and those governors who say they’re going to stop me from and stop ICE from doing the job — listen to Laken Riley, take a listen to the 17 minutes of this girl suffering, fighting for her life… You can hate Trump all you want, but you’ve got to love your community more than you hate President Trump.” Homan wants them to listen to the 17-minute sounds of a girl suffering and then ask themselves who’s on the right side of the law and common sense. Who is Tom Homan? He is a former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and a prominent figure in U.S. immigration enforcement. Born on November 28, 1961, in West Carthage, New York, Homan began his career as a police officer before joining the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) in 1984.
Throughout his career, Homan held various roles within the INS and later ICE, eventually becoming the executive associate director of ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations under the Obama administration. In January 2017, he was appointed as the acting director of ICE by President Donald Trump, a position he held until June 2018.
Homan is known for his tough stance on illegal immigration and his support for policies such as the “zero-tolerance” policy, which led to family separations at the U.S.-Mexico border. He has been a vocal advocate for stricter immigration enforcement and has criticized sanctuary city policies.
In November 2024, Homan was appointed as “border czar” by President-elect Donald Trump for his second term, tasked with overseeing border enforcement and immigration policies.
