Former President Donald Trump calls out the judge in the hush money trial where Stormy Daniels was destroyed by the lawyers during her testimony. Trump was also hit with fines for violating a gag order multiple times, which Trump is very annoyed by. He said everyone else is allowed to say whatever they want, but he can't and it's not right. Trump says the judge is corrupt, the trial is a scam, and it's all a disgrace.

Trump specifically said: “Everybody can say whatever they want…but, I’m not allowed to say anything about anybody. It’s a disgrace.”

Trump also said the following: “If anything is mentioned against certain people, and you know who they are, certain people, anything’s even mentioned, he wants to put me in jail. And that could happen one day… And I’d be very proud to go to jail for our Constitution. Because what he’s doing is so unconstitutional.”

The Hill provided more context about the judge and the gag order in their political news report about it:

Judge Juan Merchan on Monday found Trump violated a gag order for a 10th time and ordered him to pay $1,000 for attacking jurors in his hush money criminal trial, just days after the judge ruled on an earlier set of gag order violations.

Merchan warned Trump that future violations could be punishable by incarceration.

Merchan told Trump, the “last thing I want to do is put you in jail,” but “at the end of the day, I have a job to do.”

The gag order against Donald Trump prohibits him from saying things about the jurors, witnesses, prosecutors, any court staff, anyone related to the judge, etc. However, the gag order technically does not forbid Trump from talking about the judge himself or Alvin Bragg – the Democrat District Attorney in Manhattan. At least Trump can say things about them, but it does seem unfair to limit Trump’s speech.

Trump has been threatened with jail already, so he may want to watch what he says just to avoid any further limits on his ability to campaign for president in the 2024 election.
