(Crankers) After model agent Jean-Luc Brunel was found hanging in his Paris prison cell on Saturday, Ghislaine Maxwell’s family expressed concern for her safety. Brunel was allegedly introduced to Jeffrey Epstein by Maxwell, who was convicted of s-x trafficking last year. Epstein, the pedophile, and billionaire, was found dead in his cell in August 2019.
Brunel, who founded MC2 Model Management with Epstein after running Karin Models in Paris, was in charge of finding girls and young women for Epstein. He was found hanged by his bed in his cell at La Sante jail at 1:30 a.m. local time, according to the Paris prosecutor’s office, as reported.
One of Ghislaine’s siblings spoke with The Post to emphasize this was another fatality in a high-security prison via hanging. The family found the occurrences to be very disturbing. Ghislaine Maxwell, 60, is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Maxwell was placed in a room at the prison with a doctor and two others, including a guard, after her December 29 conviction on s-xual abuse charges, according to her brother. Ian Maxwell argued that Ghislaine was denied sleep and awakened up every 15 minutes throughout the night, which was an attack on her human and prisoner rights.
Maxwell argued that his younger sister was not suicidal, and he found it “ironic” that Epstein and Brunel were not placed on suicide watch in their respective jails. Shortly before his death in August, Epstein was removed off suicide watch. When it comes to Brunel’s tragedy, French prison officials told local media that there had been “no breach” in security at the facility and that an inquiry into the cause of death had begun.
