‘Is this who we want?’ D’Souza raises concern with Trump’s surgeon general nominee

(Crankers) Political commentator Dinesh D’Souza raised concerns about president-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for surgeon general, Janette Nesheiwat.  The concerns revolve around Nesheiwat’s statements during the controversial covid era and masking, and if her statements from years ago still ring true today. And, if the American people feel confident in someone who’s statements back then might have conflicted with their own beliefs around covid and everything that happened during those days.

Despite Nesheiwat having qualifications to likely succeed, Dinesh pointed out somethings that many Americans might have issues with. D’Souza said on X: “Trump’s pick for Surgeon General, Janette Nesheiwat, promoted masking children. Is this who we want?”

Nesheiwat became a Fox News contributor, and it remains unclear if words she said back then were her own or a loose script she was told to go by. It’s unclear how Donald Trump nominated her, as many believed he would possibly nominate Dr. Ben Carson instead. The video of Nesheiwat shows what Dinesh D’Souza is asking about in regarding Nesheiwat’s past statements.

Who is Janette Nesheiwat? She was nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to serve as the next Surgeon General of the United States. However, her appointment still requires Senate confirmation. This process involves a series of hearings and votes, and until it is completed, she is not officially the Surgeon General

Nesheiwat is an American physician, medical commentator, and soon to be politician. She was born on August 25, 1976, in Central Florida, USA, to Jordanian immigrant parents. Nesheiwat is known for her work as a board-certified family and emergency medicine doctor and as a medical contributor on Fox News
