(Crankers) CNN’s very liberal Van Jones became emotional talking about the warm-hearted DM Charlie Kirk sent him the day before he was assassinated.
The direct message said: “Hey Van, I mean it, I’d love to have you on my show to have a respectful conversation about crime and race… I would be a gentleman as I know you would be as well. We can disagree about the issues agreeably.”
Van Jones revealed that he and Charlie Kirk were no were close to being considered friends. If anything, they were politically as far apart as one could imagine – but Kirk didn’t care. Kirk invited him to be on the show and be heard by potentially millions.
Van Jones says “it’s important” to let people know what Charlie said to him. It shows the true character of Charlie Kirk and how respectful and welcoming he is to talking with people on the other side of politics.
The very thing that Charlie Kirk was doing the most, is what more people need to do more of – just talk.
