Gwyneth Paltrow caused a stir on the internet with her recent outfit choice. The Goop founder showed up at a Utah courthouse for her ski crash trial wearing glasses that some people thought looked like the ones worn by serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in his mugshot.
Many commenters questioned why she would wear something that resembled the notorious murderer who was responsible for the r-pe, murder, and mutilation of 17 individuals between 1978 and 1991.
Social media users have been poking fun at Gwyneth Paltrow’s recent fashion choice. Some Instagram users commented that they liked her “serial killer vibe,” while others dubbed her look as “Gwyneth Paltrow meets Jeffrey Dahmer.” Similar jokes were made on Twitter, with one person questioning why her stylist would choose to dress her in “Jeffrey Dahmer’s aviator looks” for her trial. Some users concluded that Paltrow’s staff must not be her biggest fans, said a report by Paper Mag.
Gwyneth Paltrow is facing a lawsuit from a retired optometrist Dr. Terry Sanderson. Sanderson claims that Paltrow crashed into him on the slopes of Deer Valley Resort in Utah back in 2016, leaving him with broken ribs, a brain injury, and other serious injuries. Paltrow, on the other hand, claims that Sanderson is at fault and is countersuing him for $1
Sanderson alleges that despite the seriousness of the accident, Paltrow allegedly skied away with her group without checking on him. Sanderson filed a lawsuit against Paltrow, claiming negligence, and is seeking $300,000 in damages for physical injuries and emotional distress.
As for Paltrow’s recent sartorial choice, she hasn’t made any comments yet about the “Dahmer glasses.” But knowing her, she might suggest getting a pair of similar frames from her own Goop website.
