President-elect Donald Trump picked Pam Bondi to serve as the new attorney general once Matt Gaetz pulled out. Bondi was quoted saying that anyone mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein documents has “no legal basis” for which to keep their names private. Let’s just put it this way, if someone’s name is on the list and was redacted before – then get ready, because those redacted names might finally be revealed.
Of course, people have been talking about the Jeffrey Epstein client list for years and nothing really has come of it thus far. It feels like anyone who traveled to the islands and engaged in some shady things never seems to find themselves in trouble.
I can’t even hide snacks from my girlfriend, let alone keep my name off a legal document. You’d see the trail of crumbs behind me as I scarf down everyone’s ramen noodles. I sweat just thinking about getting caught eating chicken parm when no one’s around. I can’t imagine what anyone feels like as the new Trump admin gets ready to take place and they’re whispering about releasing more Epstein info.
And while the talk of it might get people excited to see who has dirt on them, I also don’t think we’re going to see anything new, and I don’t think anything will happen at all. To be honest, why wasn’t this done the first time Trump was president? Trump’s name was mentioned on a list before. I believe they may have met, but Trump later shunned Epstein – and all of that is something you can search and read about on your own. Trump and Epstein were in some of the same friend circles – but Trump later rejected Epstein and banned him from Mar-a-Lago in 2007 when Epstein was accused of something horrific.
These are just tiny pieces of all the information already out there, none of it really linking Trump to anything bad other than association (they were sorta neighbors). And put it this way – Democrats have gone after Trump for the last eight years in every way possible and they keep coming up with duds. If there was anything bad with Trump and Epstein, that would’ve been released in 2015 when he was running for president the first time. Dems would’ve found everything possible on this man. So we know he’s fine, but there’s others who may or may not be. And what does Ghislaine Maxwell know? Lots of unturned stones and if there’s nothing new as of now, then do you think there ever will be?
Right now, we know these folks were mentioned in some way – not always bad – could just be by association, the same circle of friends, business ties – it could be almost anything and could be nothing. The list is from a report on Yahoo News, so take it with a grain of salt and wait to see if Pam Bondi or anyone in Trump’s administration releases anything new the second time around.
My main questions are – why wasn’t it done before? Why were these documents ever sealed and not made public? Who got in the way? Is this everything there is and nothing more? Lots of the same questions many others might have. I’ll be sitting back with the popcorn watching the same show everyone else is. Just let me keep my snacks and Internet drama and I’m happy.
Here’s a video with Pam Bondi to keep you entertained:
