The Supreme Court issued a victory for Texas and America in general when they said Texas officials can finally start arresting and deporting illegal immigrants. The Supreme Court refused to delay the new state law allows the state to enforce stricter immigration, something that was previously a federal job. Senate Bill 4 was delayed twice, but not anymore! And guess what, Texas won't need permission to start arresting anyone who steps into America illegally through their border. They can finally just do their job without the federal government getting in the way.
Houston Chronicle reported on some of the finer details, especially from Justice Alito. Their political news report on the border issues said the following:
The order, issued essentially on procedural grounds, clears the way for authorities to begin arresting those they believe entered the state from Mexico without permission — at least for now.
Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the order that the case is in a “very unusual procedural posture.” He noted the conservative 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has sped up consideration of the case, but has yet to issue a formal decision in the case. Arguments are scheduled before the appeals court in April.
“If a decision does not issue soon, the applicants may return to this Court,” Alito wrote. He was joined by Justices Bret Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.
What’s even crazier is that Texas would need permission in the first place. If someone enters America illegally, then shouldn’t then be arrested and deported on the spot? Why is there any other procedure in place? People can still enter America, but it needs to be done the right and legal way. It’s a shame what the Democrats have done to America and what they’ve NOT done at the border. I always knew people like Alejandro Mayorkas and Kamala Harris wouldn’t do anything good down there.
