(Crankers) Charles ‘ Wide Neck’ McDowell was arrested again and put into the Escambia County Jail. He became a star of social media after an arrest in 2018. McDowell became a member of the Shrimp Gang, a group of online celebrities, after his previous incarceration. McDowell collaborated on a music video for “Daddy Long Neck” which helped him propel to even more social media stardom.
It all started back in 2018 when a then 31-year-old McDowell was highlighted as a fugitive. The police wanted to arrest him because of multiple drug charges, eluding, violation of probation, and fleeing. The Escambia County Sheriff shared his mugshot on Facebook, and it quickly went viral. The well-known image, which showed off the guy’s strangely wide neck, was circulated widely on social media, said a report and another report.
Once the authorities got the hold of ‘ Wide Neck’ they charged him with possession, eluding police, and possession of a substance without a prescription. He was taken to the Escambia County Jail with a $57,000 bond.
His fans had the chance to see the social media celebrity in a boxing match against Drew Mournet. ‘ Wide Neck’ and “America’s most explosive CEO” met in a ring where they threw a spectacular show for all boxing fans. ‘ Wide Neck’ and Mournet competed on the Celebrity Boxing Official main card. Mournet won the match, but Wide Neck was the star of the show anyway.
