(Crankers.com) Stephen A. Smith is well known in sports, but he’s growing on the political audience when he says things like this.
Smith found out the failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris, and former VP, was releasing a book and he said: “Who cares what she has to say?”
Kamala’s book is about her failed presidential run and she apparently blames everyone except for herself. Smith, an ESPN commentator, slammed the former VP for not speaking up about Joe Biden’s decline. Smith mentions this because if Kamala Harris spoke up about Biden falling apart, then there might have been a competition to see who runs for president instead of Joe.
But there wasn’t. The nomination fell into Kamala Harris’ lap and some suggest it was designed that way.
It’s unclear who the Democrats can push into the 2028 election as there’s not really anyone suitable to run the country on that side of politics at the moment.
When talking about Kamala Harris possibly running for president again, Smith said: “I don’t think that she’s going to have any support from the Democratic Party. I can tell you that much.”
Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign was one of the biggest failures in history. By the time the election was over, the campaign was left with millions in debt. Aides initially reported no outstanding debt on Election Day, but a DNC official later confirmed $20 million in debt. Final filings confirmed that while the main campaign committee reported no debt by late November, an affiliated super PAC, Future Forward, had nearly $50 million in unpaid bills.
