(Crankers) President Donald Trump has filed two lawsuits against Georgia’s Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, over a leaked phone call that was posted by The Washington Post, per a report by RNC Chairman David Shafer.

Shafer posted on social media the following message announcing the lawsuits, both federal and state. His message said, “President @realDonaldTrump has filed two lawsuits – federal and state – against @GaSecofState,” Shafer tweeted. “The telephone conference call @GaSecofState secretly recorded was a ‘confidential settlement discussion’ of that litigation, which is still pending.”

Shafer posted a second message stating the following, “The audio published by @TheWashingtonPost is heavily edited and omits the stipulation that all discussions were for the purpose of settling litigation and confidential under federal and state law.”

The edited audio might be referring to the first audio released by The Washington Post that was about four minutes in length. The Washington Post later released the full audio in a second release.

It still remains unclear who sent the audio to The Washington Post and, at this current time, no one has confirmed or claimed the responsibility for the leaked audio.

This is an ongoing situation.

David Shafer is a former senator and is currently the Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party.

Tuesday is the Georgia runoff election.
