The report said former vice presidents will often get six months of protection. Former presidents get a lifetime of protection. Biden gave Harris an extended amount of protection and Trump squashed it.
Trump beat Harris in the 2024 election. She became candidate after Joe Biden encountered health issues, but he was declining for a very long time before that. Democrats are accused of covering up his decline, and many believe Joe Biden should’ve retired many years ago to enjoy his days on the beaches of Rehoboth, Delaware.
