Trump gets fact checked, also says ‘I concede NOTHING’ in disputed tweet

(Crankers) President Donald Trump has not yet conceded to the results of the 2020 election. The president has run into multiple problems on Twitter and many of his recent posts are now appearing with a dispute attached to them.

Today Trump posted that “He [Joe Biden] only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!”

Trump’s tweet comes with a dispute attached stating that “this claim about election fraud is disputed.” Upon clicking on the warning, it takes readers to a page with the title Voter fraud of any kind is exceedingly rare in the US, election experts confirm.

The post on that page states the following:

With ballot counting continuing and the presidential race being called for Joe Biden, experts and officials say there has been no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 US election. The election process is secure and voter fraud of any type is incredibly rare according to The Associated Press and Reuters. Officials and experts warn that the most interference in US elections, whether from foreign or domestic players, comes in the form of misinformation campaigns, many of which are intended to create distrust in the US’s electoral process.

President Trump has continuously suggested that there was fraud in the election and has several lawsuits set in place while demanding possible recounts in battleground states.

Trump was also been fact checked by AP on November 7. The fact check states that President Trump has made false tweets regarding campaign observers in PA and that Twitter has been posting warning labels on his posts that contain “dubious information” related to the election. AP reports that Twitter has flagged over a dozen of Trump’s messages, and that Facebook was adding labels to some of his posts as well.

Trump’s page on Facebook also states that he is a “Political Candidate” rather than current president. Just today he posted about the election, suggesting again that it was a “RIGGED ELECTION” and “WE WILL WIN!” That message also has a link posted under it leading to election results, as shown in the image below. However, Joe Biden still remains the projected winner of the 2020 election as stated by AP election results.
