Giuliani has vehemently denied this and suggested that the New York Times has lied in their report and said it was based on an anonymous source.

Giuliani wrote in his Twitter post, “NYT lies again. Never had the discussion they falsely attribute to an anonymous source. Hard to keep up with all their lies.”

The article suggesting a Giuliani pardon was penned by Michael S. Schmidt and Maggie Haberman, both well known for their work with the New York Times.
