(Crankers) Here’s a case of that thing people say never happens! A woman from Collingdale, PA was arrested and charged after she tried to fraudulently register her deceased father to vote. The woman, Jennifer Hill, 38, also tried to register at least four other people to vote – with some of them being deceased and one was also unidentified, according to a report on Shore News Network. The woman faces charges of forgery, applying for voter registration knowing the people were not eligible, and tampering with public records.

Hill was also part of the New Pennsylvania Project, working as a canvasser for the group. NPP is an activist group that appears to be run by, and started by, Democrats. The group self-describes themselves as “The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is a voting rights organization with a year-round primary focus on voter registration, civic education and mobilization. NPP centers historically disenfranchised and often neglected Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth in our work. Through civic engagement, we ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth.

NPP centers communities who live in urban, rural and suburban Pennsylvania to include: Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, Bucks, Dauphin, Cumberland, Lancaster, Allegheny, Berks, Lehigh, Monroe and Northampton counties. We are consistently engaging these communities, educating neighbors, colleagues, and friends about civil rights, fair education funding, marijuana legalization, economic justice, and environmental justice and stewardship.”

Shore News Network discussed what happened with the investigation into Jennifer Hill, saying the following in their breaking news crime report :

Authorities say Hill was employed as a canvasser for the New Pennsylvania Project, a nonprofit organization focused on voter registration and civic engagement. According to investigators, Hill used an app provided by the Pennsylvania Department of State to submit voter registration applications between April and September 2024. During that time, she attempted to register 310 individuals, with 181 successfully processed while 129 were flagged as incomplete or invalid.

Hill had eyes on her once people noticed duplicate applications that had subtle differences, such as a different name, email address, or even a different physical address – when she tried to register her grandmother, deceased father, another person who passed away, and some unidentified person that may not even exist.
