(Crankers) White House Press Sec Karoline Leavitt slammed the ‘Seditious Six’ Democrats and made the following remarks: “The White House is supportive of Pete Hegseth’s investigation into Senator Mark Kelly, and I think what Senator Mark Kelly was actually trying to do was intimidate the 1.3M active duty service members who are currently serving… you can’t have a functioning military if there’s disorder and chaos within the ranks, and that’s what these Democrat members were encouraging.”
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth initiated a formal review of Sen. Mark Kelly after the SEDITIOUS SIX Democrats told the military members to refuse “illegal orders” even though NONE WERE GIVEN.
The video featured six Democrats with military or national-security backgrounds who said that troops “may need to stand up for the Constitution” if faced with unlawful directives.
Hegseth publicly labeled the group the “Seditious Six,” calling the video “reckless” and accusing the lawmakers of undermining military discipline. According to the Pentagon’s statement, Hegseth directed military legal officials to examine whether Kelly—who is a retired Navy captain—could face consequences under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Retired officers remain subject to recall and certain disciplinary actions, unlike the other five lawmakers involved.
The other participants—Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) and Reps. Jason Crow (D-Colo.), Chrissy Houlahan (D-Pa.), Maggie Goodlander (D-N.H.), and Chris Deluzio (D-Pa.)—do not fall under UCMJ jurisdiction because they are civilians or non-retired former service members.
Hegseth stated on social media that Kelly’s involvement “crossed a clear line” and suggested possible steps ranging from a formal reprimand to a military inquiry, depending on what legal advisors determine. Pentagon officials clarified that no action has been taken yet and that the department is conducting a “thorough review” consistent with military law.
Kelly responded on national television when he ran to Rachel Maddow – which is soooooo pathetic! Kelly was saying the review was an act of political intimidation. He said his remarks in the video focused solely on “illegal orders,” which the military is already obligated to reject under long-standing legal standards. Kelly said he had “served in combat” and would not be silenced by political pressure.
Just because you served in combat, that’s no excuse to be a moron now bro.
The FBI has also reportedly sought interviews with several of the lawmakers involved in the video, though no criminal allegations have been announced.
The Pentagon review is ongoing and no disciplinary steps have been finalized yet, but hopefully they will be soon.
