(Crankers) Adam Kinzinger looks like he’s either high, about to cry, or a little bit of both as he talks about Donald Trump’s recent addition to the political ‘avengers’ team. Trump wants Pete Hegseth to be the new Defense Secretary. Hegseth is an Army veteran whose now on Fox News. Kinzinger thinks Hegseth is a weird choice.
You want to know what’s really weird, Adam? It’s going shooting in a poor setup and nearly killing a reporter when they get hit by shrapnel. That’s weird, bro. But Kinzinger, who looks like he’s about to shed a tear over Trump’s choices, says “Obviously, it’s weird, and there’s only one reason he’s doing it, because he’s on Fox News.”
Nah man. Hegseth did tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. He’s got experience and might know a thing or two. Just because Hegseth spends time on Fox News now, that doesn’t mean his former military experience is any less. Kinzinger did say Hegseth is “very smart” when it comes to defense policy. OK, so why call it a weird pick then? It can’t be worse than the pronoun people, right?
