(Crankers) Reports are coming in hot about Hunter Biden after he was pardoned by the Big Daddy President Joe. Hunter’s former landlord says the president’s son owes $300,000 in overdue rent.
The former landlord, Shaun Maguire, claims he rented a California home worth $4.25 million to Hunter Biden back in 2019. Maguire claims Hunter Biden tried to pay rent with his personal art projects. The landlord wants to know if that rent owed by Hunter Biden is forgiven in the pardon, or does Hunter have to eventually pay it back, according to reports.
Hunter Biden’s pardon is a “a full and unconditional pardon” that can be applied to any federal crimes he committed during the date of the pardon. The dates are January 1, 2014 to December 1, 2024 – nearly 11 years worth of potential federal crimes just get wiped aware.
Fox News reported on Hunter Biden’s alleged owed rent, providing a quote from landlord Shaun Maguire:
Shaun Maguire, a partner at venture capital firm Sequoia, responded to the news of Hunter Biden’s pardon by claiming on social media that the president’s son owes hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid rent.
“So what happens to the $300k+ in back pay rent that Hunter Biden owes my family from 2019-2020? Is that pardoned now? Thanks Joe,” Maguire wrote in a post on X.

I just wonder how anyone would think paying rent with art in a $4.25 million home makes sense. Does this actually happen often among the rich?
Classic case of rich kid syndrome thinking he can just paint his way out of any financial responsibility. What’s next, paying taxes with doodles?
i mean, if the art was actually good, who’s to say it’s not worth the rent tbh?
Totally agree. Art can be priceless. But it’s all about the agreement, right?
Curious about the legal conditions of this so-called pardon. Federal crimes related to unpaid rent sound like a stretch.
From a financial advisory standpoint, attempting to settle debts with non-liquid assets opens up a host of complications. Hunter Biden’s situation underscores the importance of understanding legal and financial obligations.
imagine showing up to pay rent with a painting lol. whats next, a sculpture for the electric bill?
Well, if Hunter Biden starts offering painting classes, sign me up. Might as well learn how to pay my rent the ‘innovative’ way.
Maybe those paintings have secret messages, you know? Might be worth more than just rent.
While the legal acceptance of art as a form of payment for rent is dubious at best, the broader implications of such a pardon on federal legal precedents cannot be ignored. Frank, this aspect deserves deeper analysis.
