(Crankers.com) Many didn’t know this, but Gavin Newsom’s wife is raking in more than $300,000 per year and much of it is off the back of Gavin’s former aides and confidants. Jennifer Siebel Newsom might appear to be a documentary filmmaker, but she’s much more than that. A lot of this money comes from various fees from the state and lobbyists – but then there’s a lot of donations to her Presentation Project.
The people who donated to her nonprofit, called Representation Project, were largely people or groups that Gavin lobbied for. Many call this a conflict of interest, but that’s not even the only concerning aspect. Watchdogs became even more alarmed after seeing what her project was about.
Representation Project describes itself as “the leading gender watchdog organization” and they’re paying Siebel Newsom about $150,000 a year for her to work 40 hours per week. However, does she really work 40 hours per week? Then more information, revealed by tax filings, show that a nonprofit paid something called “Girls Club” $150k for services listed under “writer/director/producer,” as reported on NY Post.
What should the Newsom’s do about the potential conflicts of interest?
