(Crankers.com) Democrat Elizabeth Warren is spending too much time worrying about President Donald Trump instead of working with the president to get things done for the American people.
In her latest anti-Trump rant, she used the announcement about Tylenol in hopes to score rhetorical points against the president, but her message might be putting pregnant people at risk of harming their baby instead.
The Trump administration warned pregnant women that there might be a link between taking too much Tylenol and causing an infant to develop autism. Trump’s administration was reporting back what other groups have studied. This is not information from the president or RFK Jr himself, but instead – they’re just reporting what science groups have told them.
Elizabeth Warren is suggesting that this advice comes from the president himself and uses the already fact-checked lie that he told people to inject bleach, a comment that has been widely taken out of context for years.
Elizabeth Warren posted this, along with the following image:
Let’s be clear: no one should be taking medical advice from the man who told Americans to inject bleach.
To moms worried about the Tylenol they took while pregnant: you deserve better than being RFK Jr’s scapegoat.
And to the autism community: you are loved exactly as you are.
Again, this information is coming from health officials – not President Trump himself. He’s simply relaying the information.
It’s very harmful that Democrats are making this into a “Trump issue” instead of embracing the science and trying to understand it, or research it more to get better answers.
To make things more interesting, Tylenol themselves said back in 2017 that pregnant women should not be taking any of their products.
Does Tylenol cause autism?
It’s unclear. Some science groups say there might be a link. Some say there isn’t. The maker of Tylenol tells women not to take the products when they’re pregnant, just to be on the safe side.
Back in 2017, Tylenol posted a message telling pregnant women not to take ANY of their products. They didn’t say what could, or would not happen, but they said don’t take them. Fast track to today and Kenvue still says this about the old tweet: the “eight-year-old consumer response is incomplete and did not address our full guidance on the safe use of Tylenol which has not changed.”
Being that it has not changed, the message still remains the same. If you’re pregnant, then don’t take Tylenol without consulting your doctor first. In fact, it says that on the label too.
Meanwhile, Democrats like Elizabeth Warren continue pushing harmful lies and rhetoric to “get Trump” rather than engaging in research, discourse, and mutually beneficial ideas that would benefit the majority of Americans.
