(Crankers) During an appearance at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, ex-President Donald Trump slammed President Joe Biden and pledged to restore the Republican Party back to power in Washington in 2024.
Trump said that all globalists, Marxists, socialists, and communists who were attacking civilization had no clue about the sleeping giant they had awakened. Starting from November 8, they would find out the hard way, and even more so in 2024. Trump said that the fight would be successful for the third time as it was two times before.
In front of a noisy and enthusiastic hotel ballroom of around 6,000 conservative activists, Trump spoke over the course of 90 minutes, making the crowd chant “USA!” and “four more years” as stated.
The former president made claims that the 2020 election was rigged, chastised top Senate Republican Mitch McConnell, bemoaned the Russia investigation that dogged his first years in office, claimed that the United States has become a global laughing stock since he left office, accused the “fake news” national press corps of collaborating with the Democrats, and vowed to finish the wall along the southern border that was stalled by the Biden administration.
The former president focused a lot of attention on Republican efforts to reclaim congressional control in the 2022 midterm elections and the White House two years later. The upcoming campaigns, according to Trump, will be all-hands-on-deck Republican operations. But, more importantly, the 45th president asserted himself as the party’s agenda and political activity’s leader and stopped short of declaring himself a candidate for the presidency in 2024.
Trump spoke about the situation in Ukraine. He expressed condolences for Kyiv and applauded Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelinsky’s bravery in defying offers to evacuate him under Russia’s harsh and unwarranted attack. Trump also claimed that he could have persuaded Putin to stay out of Ukraine by force if necessary and that he would have succeeded where Biden had failed.
