(Crankers) New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani has announced his first two key appointments for his incoming administration where he is likely to destroy a massive city with bizarro-world unrealistic policies.
Dean Fuleihan as First Deputy Mayor, a Syracuse native and veteran of city and state government. Fuleihan previously served as budget director and first deputy mayor under Bill de Blasio, bringing expertise in policy and fiscal management. Oh right, because de Blasio was so good.
Mamdani also chose Elle Bisgaard-Church as Chief of Staff, his longtime trusted advisor. She’ll handle day-to-day operations and strategic coordination in the mayor’s office. Isn’t that Mamdani’s job?
What’s this guy going to do if he’s already got several staffers and he’s not even sworn in yet?
So is he not going to ever work a day in his actual life, or am I just nuts for seeing it that way?
What are Mamdani’s ideas for New York City?
Mamdani’s platform includes fare-free public transit, universal childcare, a $30 minimum wage by 2030, rent freezes, and single-payer healthcare, all pursued through electoral politics and reforms, not revolution.
He has described himself as a democratic socialist in response to critics, emphasizing equity and affordability for working-class New Yorkers.
All of this will be paid by the working class taxpayers, giving all the bums as much free stuff as possible.
$30 minimum wage? This cannot be serious.
The dollar menu is about to be the $50 menu.
I feel like NYC is going to spiral out of control so bad that even the rats leave.
