(Crankers) Scott Jennings might be the only person worth watching at CNN and this video clip about the pardon of Hunter Biden is another one of his gems. Jennings was listening to someone defend the pardon of Hunter Biden and they referenced former President Donald Trump and firing squads and people rolled their eyes.
Leigh McGowan suggested that Hunter’s pardon was necessary because, in her eyes, Donald Trump was considering ‘firing squads’ – despite there being no evidence of this. Trump mentioned firing squads when he suggested someone should see what it feels like when they’re a real soldier in a real war, and not sitting in an office sending young soldiers to risk their lives. However, there wasn’t any talk of Trump bringing firing squads back, to our knowledge.
Scott Jennings reaction in the video was interesting when McGowan said: “the circumstances have changed. We now have a president coming into office who’s talking about firing squads… Who’s talking about running people around the country, and making sure that everyone who’s his enemy is going to be punished.”
Jennings wrote on X: “Of all the defenses of the Biden pardon I’ve heard, “because Trump firing squads” might be the most creative.” The only time Trump mentioned firing squads was in an analogy he was making and the media spun it out of context.

I’m a bit puzzled here, and maybe I’m missing something. Was Hunter Biden actually pardoned, or is this a hypothetical scenario being discussed? It seems like a drastic step, and the reasoning mentioned here seems quite out of the ordinary. Could someone provide more context on this?
Hey Marie, there’s been a lot of talk about this, but as far as I know, no pardon has officially been granted. A lot of the conversation is speculative or based on misunderstandings of the comments made by political figures.
lol Scott Jennings dropping truth bombs like it’s a Call of Duty match. When did politics turn into such a circus? can we get a respawn on reality pls?
