(Crankers.com) CNN’s Scott Jennings was furious with failed VP candidate Tim Walz after seeing a video of the Minnesota Democrat making comments that could incite violence against the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
Jennings, a Republican strategist, disliked Governor Tim Walz saying he hopes Donald Trump dies soon. Walz was harping on the rumors that Trump passed away because no one saw him for a few days. Walz suggested that some day that news might be real, despite it being a rumor for now.
Jennings said the following: “When he [Trump] got on the phone and sounded very much alive, I thought it would sound kind of stupid, frankly, to ask a live person if they were dead… But I’ll tell you who is a complete piece of shit — and I’m going to tell you right now. Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, holding up a phone in front of a rally and saying, ‘Well, we thought we were going to wake up and find out the president died. Someday it’ll happen.’”
Jennings suggested that no one in politics should ever wish the current president passes away, implying that it sets a bad tone and is just a terrible thing to say about anyone.
Jennings called Tim Walz a “piece of sh*t” for what he said, then later followed it up with a tweet on X: “I used to say he was the biggest buffoon in American politics, but it’s worse now. No political official, no elected official should be walking around saying ‘Why, I’m hoping we wake up one day, and the president of the United States has died.’ Crazy.”
