(Crankers) Chicago residents are having a property tax bonfire after they received their new property tax bills that have increased significantly. Some residents reported that their bills have increased $977 from last year.
Democrats again increased property taxes due to budget shortfalls and not being able to manage a budget or decide what’s actually important. Residents complain of rising assessments, and say despite property taxes increases, there’s no notable improvements being made to their city.
So in other words, Mayor Brandon Johnson is doing a lot worse than we could ever expect.
The residents in Chicago are paying all this money and not seeing improvements to their city. They want answers. They want to know where the money is going, because they’re simply not seeing the investments made in their neighborhood or anywhere else.
Imagine seeing your property tax go up almost $1,000 and not even knowing how it’s being wasted. That should be called theft and the Democrats in Chicago are behind it.
