(Crankers.com) Conservative Charlie Kirk’s memorial service was yesterday and it took place in a packed State Farm Stadium in Arizona, home of the NFL’s Cardinals team.
A sea of thousands crowded the seats as speakers took the stage to pay tribute to Charlie Kirk after he was assassinated in Utah during a speaking event.
Erika Kirk offered forgiveness to the alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, who’s in custody awaiting his trial.
Most speakers either condemned the violence or spoke nothing of it, but focused on the life and message of Charlie Kirk, who’s main goal appears to be simply speaking with people on both sides – having friendly debates and welcoming people from the other side of the political aisle.
President Donald Trump spoke as well, but he defied the others and said he personally hates his enemies. Trump pointed out that most of the political violence comes from the left side of politics and it appears that everyone wants the violence to stop – except for those who continue being violent, of course.
Charlie Kirk was only 31 when he was assassinated in Utah. He founded Turning Point USA when he was 18 and became one of the most popular conservatives across the globe. He was well known in almost every country.
The big message from his memorial on Sunday is this – his life may be gone, but his message will continue.
Erika Kirk, his wife, is now the CEO of Turning Point USA.
