(Crankers) Protesters who were arrested following the breach of the Capitol on January 6 are starting to speak out after learning of their potential jail sentences.

Jenna Ryan is one of them. She was arrested by the FBI after turning herself in following the incident at the Capitol. Ryan became well known after she took a private plane from Texas to DC to participate in the protest at the Capitol that escalated quickly into a disaster resulting in several lives lost.

Ryan, a realtor, is facing numerous charges stemming from the incident, ranging from “knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds” according to CBS Local 11 .

Despite turning herself in, she still faces the charges and could spend time in prison depending on the outcome. Ryan has responded by suggesting that everyone who protested deserves a pardon, and that she specifically is “facing a prison sentence.”

However, the pro-Trump realtor has also implicated President Donald Trump and claims he told her to go to the Capitol. She also expressed that she has no shame or guilt for her actions during the day of the January 6 breach of Capitol.

This statement, provided to CBS Local 11, suggests that President Donald Trump told her to go, but she also apologizes for the negative response that her actions have caused.

I just want people to know I’m a normal person. That I listen to my president who told me to go to the Capitol. That I was displaying my patriotism while I was there and I was just protesting and I wasn’t trying to do anything violent and I didn’t realize there was actually violence. I’d just like to apologize for all of the families that are affected by any of the negative environment and I’d just like to say I really love people and I am not a villain that a lot of people would make me out to be, or people think I am, because I was a Trump supporter at the Capitol.

Ryan also said that protesters deserve a pardon. Although, with just four days until Joe Biden takes office, it seems highly unlikely that any protesters will receive a pardon unless it’s completed before Trump leaves his position as president.

Ryan’s quote to CBS Local 11 stated the following, “I think we all deserve a pardon. I’m facing a prison sentence. I think I do not deserve that and from what I understand, every person is going to be arrested that was there, so I think everyone deserves a pardon, so I would ask the President of the United States to give me a pardon.”

Her quote about not feeling shame or guilt for her actions, suggesting that she was following the words of the president, is as follows:

I don’t feel a sense of shame or guilty from my heart. I feel like I was basically following my president. I was following what we were called to do. He asked us to fly there. He asked us to be there. So I was doing what he asked us to do.  I do feel a little wronged in this situation because I’m a real estate agent and this has taken my company. This has taken my business. I am being slandered all over the internet, all over the world and all over the news and I’m just like a normal person.

Ryan’s fate now lies in the hands of the justice system.
