(Crankers.com) A boat carrying Greta Thunberg and other activists towards Gaza caught on fire and some people blamed a drone strike. However, there was no evidence of drones in the area.
The video below also suggests that something was on fire above them, then landed on the boat and erupted into more flames. It’s very possible that someone on the boat fired a flare, then the flare dropped back onto the boat.
An article on Newsweek talked about how the organizers of the boat, the Global Sumud Flotilla, had accused Israel of conducting a drone strike. However, Tunisian authorities reported there’s no evidence to support that claim and Israel still didn’t respond to it at the time this was published.
As of now, there was no evidence of a drone strike and it’s possible that someone on the flotilla fired a flare incorrectly. Watch the video below:
