(Crankers) Democrats are always up to no good and AOC is proving that once again.
This time she was busted in what appears to be a conflict of interest when it comes to donations, as pointed out by David Joe May on X. He said:
AOC recently sent out an email asking people to donate for a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in NYC.
The link in the email goes straight to the Dem fundraiser platform, ActBlue, and then the money is directly contributed to her campaign.
The page disclosure notes, “paid for by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Congress, with donations not qualifying as charitable deductions.”
Wow. You gotta be really stupid to donate to ActBlue or any politician at all, for that matter.
This is crazy though. If AOC sent an email asking people do donate for a turkey giveaway, that’s just 100% shady as can be.
What happens if she gets $1,000,000 in donations? Is she handing out 300,000 turkeys? Or is she handing out a few turkeys and keeping the rest of the money? WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING?
Now do you see how scandalous this sounds on the surface? But hey, she’s just a bartender, she doesn’t know what she’s doing, right?
First of all, you NEVER need to donate to a politician if they want to do a turkey giveaway. She makes $174k salary. She can buy a turkey for like $25 and give it to someone on her own.
She can probably get one for free at her local supermarket, because plenty of supermarkets give them out free for the holidays when you cash in your rewards points.
This whole turkey giveaway donation thing smells like a scam to me.
And the fact you can’t even deduct it on taxes?
I’d ask AOC to pour me another drink, but she probably sucks at that too.
These politicians are absolutely rotten to the core.
