(Crankers) X user ALX had the breaking news as soon as it was known that 38 Republicans have sided with the Democrats and voted no on the adjusted spending bill that Donald Trump suggested should pass.
Trump isn’t president yet and he previously disliked the 1500+ page spending bill which included very big raises for some members of the government. Negotiations removed a lot of the ‘pork’ from the spending bill, dropping it down to just over 100 pages.
Trump then said it was a much better version of the bill and implored everyone to vote yes on it. 38 Republicans got in the way. We may report back when we have a list of the 38 Republicans who voted against their fellow leaders.
Darn bro, just whipping up a story on Chip Roy, Trump, and the spending bill and now I got the results, thus far!
