American entrepreneur and billionaire Mike Cuban goes against Sean Hannity in his live appearance on the media personality’s show. Cuban is leaning towards former Vice President Joe Biden against current U.S. President Donald Trump. He believes that Biden is ready to be a president while Trump, as he claimed, only “wants to run a campaign.”
The article by Forbes breaks down the heated debate that ended with Hannity telling Cuban he’s “nuts.”
Now, Cuban’s words are not to be taken lightly. He is known for his sharp, business mind. Being the owner of NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, with an estimated net worth of over $4.3 billion, his words do have weight and with merit. When questioned about Biden’s level of “strength, stamina and mental acuity” to become the president, he replied that Biden had 100% and that he is ready. Cuban added, “Donald Trump doesn’t want to run a country; he wants to run a campaign. Joe Biden actually wants to run a country.”
Hannity did not give up, pressing Cuban by comparing Biden’s record against Trump’s. The Fox News host cited Trump’s first term, which showed a history of unemployment lows and criminal justice reform. With that, he challenged Cuban. What did Biden do for Cuban to stand up for him?
Cuban stated that Biden helped build Obamacare, the health care that the current president was trying to repeal without replacement. Hannity countered with Trump’s record. However, the billionaire interrupted and stated that Biden and then-President Barack Obama solved the 12-year Great Recession. It was his time to ask, “where are we now with the current pandemic?”
The segment ended with Hannity ending Cuban’s response after saying, “I think your politics is nuts” before telling Cuban to make another appearance to defend Biden’s records as a senator.
It is crucial to point out that when Hannity brought out positive news on retail sales and new jobs, Cuban immediately responded, “When your bank account goes from $10 to $1, and then all of a sudden it goes to $2, you can say you doubled your bank account, but you’re still down 80%.”
The heated debate will have a continuation.
