Mark Pincus has “seen too much” and that’s not a good thing for Kamala Harris. The tech billionaire is Mark Pincus, the founder Zynga, a huge name in the social gaming sector, and he’s been a lifelong Democrat. But things are changing and Pincus posted on X to talk about why he’s ditching the Democratic Party and voting for Donald Trump.
Pincus said on X: “I am voting for Trump. I have been a lifelong Dem, supporting the past 4 presidential campaigns at $1m each (including Biden/Harris). This past year i have seen too much. Israel is America’s most loyal ally and the only Democracy in the Middle East. It is fighting Iran on 7 fronts and yet it can no longer trust the US. Anti semitism in America is reaching levels not seen since pre WWII. And there seems to be a war against freedom of speech. Happily MSM is no longer trusted but if our sources of free speech like X are censored we move a step closer to Russia and China where the state is the only voice allowed. I know America will continue to be great under the Dems or Trump. And yet i think America and Israel will be stronger under Trump. My vote doesnt matter since i live in a one party state. But i feel its important that i state my position anyway.”
Pincus joins a big list of tech people and wealthy folks who are ditching the Democrats for Donald Trump and the Republicans. The funny thing about this situation is how many people say the Republicans are all about the millionaires and billionaires – but take a long look at how many of those rich people were actually Democrats. Tons of wealthy celebrities and corporate folks who donated millions to the Democrats over the years and they’re slowly starting to switch to the Republican candidate. Now ask yourself, why is that?
It’s because they see their country crumbling in a way that’s not good. Every country has problems, but why are all these rich and wealthy folks switching to Donald Trump? It’s because the people switching are smart enough to get where they are in life, and now they’re smart enough to keep things going in the right direction. A report on MSN showed a few other big-time moneymakers and former Democrats moving to Trump:

Shaun Maguire, a partner at Silicon Valley venture capital firm Sequoia Capital who donated to Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2016, announced a $300,000 donation to Trump in May. Maguire also cited Israel, writing, “somehow the Biden administration has chosen to cuddle up to Iran while driving Saudi Arabia and Israel away.”
Elon Musk, perhaps the most glaring example of a billionaire who is backing Trump, spent his money somewhat equally on campaign contributions to Democrats and Republicans in the past.
His largest contribution before 2023 was a $50,000 donation to Democrat Rahm Emanuel in 2015, according to Bloomberg.
