‘Good Morning America’ fired Joy Behar and now she is finally ready to reveal the reasons behind the decision, from her perspective, of course. The 80-year-old celebrity has hosted the majority of The View episodes on ABC since the program’s debut in 1997. However, Behar confessed during an interview that she was fired from the breakfast program because of poor administrative abilities.
Behar explained that the first time she got fired was years ago, and that happened because she was the worst receptionist the show ever had. Even though she returned to her position just two years later, the former “Joy Behar: Say Anything!” host claimed that she was happy” to have been sacked from “The View” in 2013 after serving as a panelist for 15 years, said KXLY.
Behar said that she was sick of the show and that someone wanted her to go. She wasn’t happy with the concept of the show back then. However, she believes that it had something to do with her political views.
American comedian, television personality, actor, and writer Josephine Victoria “Joy” Behar hosted a program called Joy Behar: Say Anything! on Current TV in 2012. She used to host The Joy Behar Show on HLN from 2009 to 2011. Late Night Joy, another Behar’s show, debuted on TLC in 2015.
She has written a number of publications, including Joy Shtick — Or What is the Existential Vacuum and Does It Come with Attachments, and Sheetzucacapoopoo: My Kind of Dog, a children’s book released in 2006. She also wrote The Great Gasbag: An A-Z Study Guide to Surviving Trump World.
Her current role on The View is one of her most controversial because her and the other hosts are often criticized for the outrageous and often illogical things they say pertaining to current events and politics.
