John Oliver is struggling with his own identity here, calling out Kamala’s failed campaign and defending transgender athletes all in one bizarre ranting video. First Oliver was slamming the woke politics as part of the reason why Kamala lost to Donald Trump in the 2024 election, but seems like he’s also mad that Democrats put the trans stuff on the side.
Everyone knows Democrats went too far left. That couldn’t be clearer. Oliver was then ranting about the transgender sports issue, something that the majority of the country wants to be done with. Most people don’t want males competing against females and for many commonsense reasons, like safety and taking scholarships/victories away from the girls who trained so hard to compete against other women, not biological dudes. Oliver said, “There are vanishingly few trans girls competing in high schools anywhere. Even if there were more, trans kids like all kids, vary in athletic ability and there is no evidence they pose any threat to safety or fairness.”
Oliver is getting this wrong and he’s either clueless or just speaking nonsense. Fairness is telling the boys to compete against boys and the girls to compete against girls. Fairness is NOT telling the boys to dress up like girls and beat them at their own sports. Oliver further said, “it is very weird for you to be so focused on this subject. And finally, if you genuinely want to address the biggest concern for most girls who play high school sports, you’d be less worried about this and more about the creepy assistant volleyball coach who keeps liking their posts on f**king Instagram.”
Nope. Oliver gets it wrong again. It’s weird for liberal parents to brainwash their kids and indoctrinate them with the thought that they can just wake up and stop being a boy. It’s weird to put REAL GIRLS in awkward situations with males in their lockerooms, bathrooms, and stealing victories from the girls in sports. Americans don’t want anything to do with this stuff. They want their girls safe and the boys out of their spaces.
Oliver kept talking… “the bigger point is, at least based on what we know now, anyone pointing the blame for the election result at one specific demographic is missing the mark.” Dude, the bigger point is that Democrats have gone so far left that they can’t even define what a woman is anymore. They think a guy in a dress is a woman. It’s not. Sorry bro, it’s just dress up – and that’s fine. Dress and act anyway you want to, just please stop forcing this lifestyle on everyone else.
