Jimmy Kimmel may want to watch what he says. He was joking about members of his staff thinking the suspected killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson is “hot” and attractive. The suspect, Luigi Mangione, was arrested for the crime, but still awaits trial to determine if that was actually him or not.
Now if you think back many years, then you’ll remember that Jimmy Kimmel was friends with Jeffrey Epstein’s former chef, Adam Perry Lang. And perhaps Jimmy Kimmel shouldn’t be making jokes about someone suspected of murder, when he was literally pals with someone connected to a monster. Just maybe Jimmy Kimmel should hold off on this one a minute.
How was Adam Perry Lang connected to Kimmel? Adam Perry Lang was staying at Jimmy Kimmel’s house when the police showed up after they received a report of explosives being on the property. A report on Daily Mail, also from January 27, 2019, said the following:
Chef Adam Perry Lang has been arrested at Jimmy Kimmel’s beach house after cops received a report of explosives. Lang has been charged felony charges of making criminal threats after cops swarmed the late night host’s Hermosa Beach, California, just before midnight on Saturday. Kimmel’s friend Lang was believed to be staying in the property at the time.
That incident turned out to be a swatting, where someone falsely calls the police with a fake report, sending the cops to investigate.
Adam Perry Lang was quoted by the blog Eater as saying, “Almost 20 years ago, as a young chef I was hired to work for Jeffrey Epstein,” the chef says in a statement sent to Eater this afternoon. “My role was limited to meal preparation. I was unaware of the depraved behavior and have great sympathy and admiration for the brave women who have come forward.”
However, if someone was working for Jeffrey Epstein, then you have to wonder what they saw during their time being employed by the disgraced dead financier. Speculation, of course.
Here’s part of the video. And take notice, they turned the comments off.
