I’m sorry that’s happening to you: Tom Cotton rips woke Kroger
So what the heck happened? Well, Kroger apparently fired some employees back in 2019 because they refused to wear a logo that they, the employees believed represented the LGBT rainbow pride flag. Kroger denied it, saying the logo on the aprons was not for the LGBT community – even though it was a heart with a rainbow, so it clearly looked like one. Kroger ended up having to pay $180,000 to settle the lawsuit and I guess Tom Cotton is just rubbing it in! Let’s just put it this way – no one should be forced to wear that. Wear it if you want, and don’t wear it if you don’t want. It’s time for people to stop forcing their lifestyles on us. We don’t care what you do in your free time, but we don’t have to support it at work either. Leave us alone. Enough of this woke garbage.
It seems like Cotton was telling people not to censor or punish conservatives in any way, then have the nerve to come ask Republicans for help when Democrat may try blocking or regulating their business needs. Kroger wants to purchase Albertsons for an insane amount of money, but will it go through?
