Dr. Anthony Fauci is 81-years old and probably way passed his time to retire. Fauci was hinting at retirement when he did an interview on ABC’s ‘Start Here’ podcast. Fauci said: “I have said that I would stay in what I’m doing until we get out of the pandemic phase, and I think we might be there already… I can’t stay at this job forever. Unless my staff is going to find me slumped over my desk one day; I’d rather not do that.”
But this video also came out and sounds like he might be walking back the hints of retirement, saying “we’re still in this, we have a way to go.”
WATCH the video:
If Fauci doesn’t retire, then he faces potential investigations from the House if GOP regains control. On top of that, Fauci might also face threats from people like Republican Rand Paul, whom he constantly clashes with. Rand Paul would love to see Dr. Fauci out of his position and walking into retirement.
Every time we see a video with Fauci and Paul, it’s always a clash, a battle of wits, and both men saying the other is wrong or a liar.
They literally can’t seem to agree on much of anything and it appears to be more of a battle to prove each other right or wrong, rather than trying to get the American people the best information possible.
