‘The View’ host slammed after anti-Christian comment

‘The View’ hosts were slammed by critics once again after Sara Haines made an abhorrent anti-Christian comment that triggered pro-lifers on social media to react with criticism towards the host. The hosts were discussing a court case that took place in Texas when Haines jumped into a rant that ended up being words she may regret saying one day.

Haines said, as quoted on TrendingPolitics, “Yeah, and this example should be one of the easy ones, because this actually also risked her future fertility and she wants to grow her family more and, of course, the baby is going to pass, all those things.” Haines talked about when life begins and ends, suggesting that a lawsuit taking place in Kentucky, that discussed when life begins and if “a fetus is a part of a woman’s body until it leaves the womb.” All of these topics are well above my pay-grade, plus I’m a man, so I have no idea what it’s like to be pregnant or give birth anyway.

Haines continued her rant about the controversial topic, saying the following – and this is the part that triggered people to no end, sparking the massive amount of comments and criticisms: “And  I tend to think when people say ‘well, it’s God’s will, it’s a miracle, it’s life.’ If it’s God’s will on the way in, it should be God’s will on the way out too? That brings into question, are you taking heart attack medication? Are you treating your cancer? Are you dying when he said you should? Because if we’re going to argue about life in, let’s be honest about life out.”

But wait, there’s more. Haines made her already bad comments get worse when she said it would be “God’s will” for someone to pass away instead of seeking important treatment that could prolong or save life. Haines was trying to compare the beginning and end of life and suggesting something would be “God’s will” if it happened.

At the end of the day, it seemed like a pointless conversation for the hosts of ‘The View’ to have, but it’s very much like them to have very bad takes that people on the right side of politics often disagree with. I believe the hosts of ‘The View’ purposely say things like this about sensitive subjects, knowing they will be criticized. Or maybe that’s giving them too much credit and perhaps they really are just a very bad group of people who should never have their own show.
