(Crankers.com) The death of the conservative activist and devout Christian, Charlie Kirk, has left the media discussing his sudden murder. The suspect, Tyler Robinson (22), has been arrested on suspicion of having carried out the attack.
Kirk’s death has been notably shared online through a video where his moment of death was vividly captured.
While the online discourse has been split both ways, with some users commenting on the tragedy while others responding emotionally, the country star, Lee Brice, has decided to express his feelings on the matter.
Brice was one of the many people who felt saddened at the loss of a spiritual man, which motivated him to honor Kirk by writing a song. ‘When The Kingdom Comes’ was performed in Clearwater, Florida, on September 11th, the day after Kirk’s murder.
“Charlie’s passing deeply affected me and the whole band, and we knew that we wanted to honor him.” Brice said, “It was the best way to honor what Charlie held closest to his heart – his faith and his relationship with Jesus Christ.”
“I don’t want to see a picture of this country without God in it,” Brice stated.
