(Crankers.com) The wife of famous actor and New Jersey native, Bruce Willis, recently made one of the hardest decisions when it comes to his battle with dementia. Emma Heming Willis said she had to move Bruce into a second home so that he could get 24/7 care while she’s home with the kids.
Emma was interviewed by Diane Sawyer and that’s when she said Bruce was moved to a residence, which would be able to care for him around the clock. Bruce’s dementia surely made things difficult for him, but also his family, and it must be tougher every single day to watch this happen.
Emma told Sawyer that moving Bruce, 70, into the full-time care residence was “one of the hardest decisions she’s ever been tasked with – not just for him, but for her entire life. Emma is only 47 and the two daughters are 11 and 13, so they have much different needs than Bruce.
The article on Yahoo News reminded folks that even though Bruce is in another residence to receive care, the kids still see him a lot – and that’s what really matters.
