Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, is on vacation! He was seen on a luxury yacht near the coast of Mykonos, Greece. Musk is about to face a lawsuit as a result of his refusal to buy Twitter. The billionaire is in the middle of a fight with former President Donald Trump. He, on the other hand, put on a plain T-shirt and swim shorts, kicked back, and enjoyed his time with a couple of friends.
Musk’s latest argument with Trump began when Trump brought up Musk’s claim that he had just for Republicans for the first time in his life. “He said the other day, ‘Oh, I’ve never voted for a Republican.’ I said, ‘I didn’t know that,'” Trump said. “He told me he voted for me, so he’s another bull— artist.”
In response, Musk posted a tweet: “I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset. Dems should also call off the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency.”
Trump replied that Musk “should focus on getting himself out of the Twitter mess because he could owe $44 billion for something that’s perhaps worthless.”
Musk had previously stated that if his Twitter agreement was successful, he would lift Trump’s indefinite Twitter ban, which was a result of the uprising at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Musk, on the other hand, has decided to call off the purchase of Twitter. The transaction was worth $44 billion. In response, Twitter stated that it intends to sue the world’s richest man to ensure that the deal is completed.
Musk tweeted a meme of himself laughing in a set of four photographs with the text: “They said I couldn’t buy Twitter, Then they wouldn’t disclose bot info, Now they want to force me to buy Twitter in court, Now they have to disclose bot info in court.”
When Musk requested for the deal to be terminated, he explained that Twitter had not given him enough data to do their own investigation and had not given enough information about the number of fake accounts and bots on the social media network.
“Sometimes Twitter has ignored Mr. Musk’s requests, sometimes it has rejected them for reasons that appear to be unjustified, and sometimes it has claimed to comply while giving Mr. Musk incomplete or unusable information,” it was noted
“In April 2022, Elon Musk entered into a binding merger agreement with Twitter, promising to use his best efforts to get the deal done,” Twitter said in the complaint. “Now, less than three months later, Musk refuses to honor his obligations to Twitter and its stockholders because the deal he signed no longer serves his personal interests,” it continued..
“Having mounted a public spectacle to put Twitter in play, and having proposed and then signed a seller-friendly merger agreement, Musk apparently believes that he — unlike every other party subject to Delaware contract law — is free to change his mind, trash the company, disrupt its operations, destroy stockholder value, and walk away,” Twitter claimed.
