Don Lemon accused of ‘mansplaining’ women to female co-hosts as Greg Gutfeld crushes ratings
Here’s Don Lemon being confronted by his female co-hosts after he tried to mansplain women being in their prime. First of all, Donny boy – what would you know about women? Second, don’t ever tell women when they are in their prime. That’s a woman’s job. Leave the women alone. Don Lemon was talking about Nikki Haley when he caught his co-hosts off-guard and they had to interject with their own commentary. It’s easy to see why Don Lemon may not be on prime-time television anymore. If this is the content he comes up with, then what good is he to anyone?
CNN just doesn’t know how bad they have it with Don Lemon. Look at his ratings compared to people like Greg Gutfeld who is crushing it on the stats.
Fox News’ late-night host Greg Gutfeld got some more good news this week as the new ratings were published for his industry. Like the entire Fox line-up, Gutfeld’s two programs are both taking no prisoners in their time slots when compared to competitor networks.
“Gutfeld! was the 6th highest-rated show overall on cable news in total viewers and the 3rd highest-rated in the key 25-54 age demographic — behind Tucker Carlson and The Five — which was co-hosted by Greg Gutfeld. In the 11 p.m. hour, Gutfled! crushed its cable news competition as CNN brought in only 371,000 total viewers and MSNBC scored 972,000,” Mediaite reported.
Throughout 2022, Nielsen Media Research showed that Gutfeld! averaged 2.1 million viewers, which is astounding especially for a new late-night show that broke the mold on a news network.
“The size of that viewing audience bests both NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’ and ABC’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ and also consistently trumps such cable rivals as Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show’ and HBO’s ‘Last Week Tonight’ and ‘Real Time With Bill Maher,’” the report said.
Even Vox, which is known as more of a liberal-leaning media outlet, sang Gutfeld’s praises: “The biggest comedy show on late-night right now is not on ABC or NBC or CBS or Fox. It’s not on Comedy Central. It’s certainly not streaming. It’s on Fox News, and its name is ‘Gutfeld!’”
