Democrats got another wake-up call after the Senate bipartisan bill designed to fix the immigration system got shot down by House Speaker Mike Johnson who suggested the bill would be ‘dead on arrival’ if it even makes one inch into the House. This is likely because the bill, which is supposed to help fix the problem at the southern border since Joe Biden’s administration is failing so badly – and many say they’re failing on purpose – but the border fixer-upper bill also conveniently included $90 billion for OTHER countries in humanitarian aide.
So let me get this straight. We have a problem at the border because Biden is failing miserably. We come up with a bill to fix the border problems. But for some reason, we decided to throw BILLIONS in there for other countries that have nothing to do with the southern border? I know politics is about getting multiple things done at once, but this is a perfect example of how that is a very bad way to run a country. America needs to fix America and start at the border by shutting it down and processing all the illegal immigrants that Joe Biden just let walk right into the country. Now is not the time to worry about other countries and their problems when America seems to be spiraling out of control. We need to fix US before we help fixing them.
House Speaker Mike Johnson said on X: “I’ve seen enough. This bill is even worse than we expected, and won’t come close to ending the border catastrophe the President has created. As the lead Democrat negotiator proclaimed: Under this legislation, “the border never closes.” If this bill reaches the House, it will be dead on arrival,” Johnson said in a statement on X, echoing comments he made before the bill’s release.”
According to reports, the Senate spent months coming up with this bipartisan bill, but if it took them that long to come up with a bill THIS BAD, then just wait until the politicians hit their final form. One look at how much money is going AWAY from America will have any sane person shaking their head. And if you’re shaking your fists, then you know that fist is empty like your bank account might be as you’re spending way too much money on just about everything these days. But sure, send BILLIONS to other countries when we have all these problems that we should fix in America FIRST.
ABC reported on the bill and what Steve Scalise said about it. Scalise said it won’t even receive a vote in the House. And why should it? It sounds like the Democrats are only willing to work on the border if America sends more billions to everyone else in the process. And if you look at the bill, then you’ll see it’s not even going to do much to help stop the border problems. The only thing that would fix the southern border right now is a complete shut down. Then process and deport the illegals who just flooded the country thanks to Biden’s bad administration. And then start reforming the legal immigration process so people who truly want to be here the legal way can do so in a more timely manner. Legal immigration is great, illegal immigration is a drain on our country.
Scalise said: “Let me be clear: The Senate Border Bill will NOT receive a vote in the House. Here’s what the people pushing this “deal” aren’t telling you: It accepts 5,000 illegal immigrants a day and gives automatic work permits to asylum recipients—a magnet for more illegal immigration.” ABC’s report continued, quoting more Republicans:
GOP Whip Tom Emmer of Minnesota is also against the Senate bill. “I’ll say it again: Any deal from the Senate that explicitly allows for even ONE illegal crossing will be dead on arrival in the House. What we’ve seen is an insult to the American people who’ve been forced to bear the consequences of Democrats’ open-border policies,” Emmer said in a statement on X.
GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik of New York voiced strong objections to the bill in her post on X. “This Joe Biden/Chuck Schumer Open Border Bill is an absolute non-starter and will further incentivize thousands of illegals to pour in across our borders daily,” Stefanik, a top ally of former President Donald Trump, said on X.
One thing Democrat Chuck Schumer did was go on MSNBC to use scare tactics against Americans. His statements in the video below are so far fetched and rediculous that even a person with a low IQ should see this and shake their head in disgust. It’s clear folks, the Democrats simply do not have America’s best interest at heart. What happened to the days where both parties seemed to care? Why does it feel like Democrats could not care less about the people who live here and work every day. It always feels like we don’t matter to them, and that’s why I can’t ever vote for a Democrat. They use people for votes and then never deliver. That seems to be the Democrat way. Just say whatever gets your vote, then turn their back on Americans and leave us hanging to dry.
