(Crankers) Hey guys, do you think we can fix this one?
A female cop in New Jersey took a plea deal after she got caught breaking into her ex-lover’s home, threatening him and his new lover in a rage-fueled attack you could only imagine seeing on an episode of Cheaters or Jerry Springer.
The now former officer, Rebecca Sayegh, 32, busted in the front door, scratched the hood of a car in the driveway, and apparently it got a little crazy.
When the cops who were on duty arrived, they took her into custody and she faced a wrath of charges that were later reduced after she entered a guilty plea.
Sayegh’s original charges were invasion burglary, resisting arrest, terroristic threats, and two counts of assault and criminal mischief. She allegedly did about $2,500 in damages during her little incident.
Rebecca Sayegh plead guilty to criminal mischief, burglary, and simple assault. She will also resign as a police officer in Toms River and she’s banned from public employment across the entire state of New Jersey.
The strong arm of the law is also requesting that she get sentenced to 180 days in jail, restitution, and NO contact with the victims.
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!
Sayegh was also in the midst of a sexual harassment lawsuit against a few of her superiors. But that lawsuit was dismissed, so nothing more to see there.
On the contrary, Sayegh does have a good side. She was brave and saved a homeowner and some pets from a home that was burning down a few years ago.
And this is why women shouldn't be cops, unless it's Halloween or in the bedroom.
