People who are complaining about soaring gas prices across the United States, were criticized by the “Breaking Bad” star Dean Norris. Norris said current gas prices are “fair market” and urged anyone who “love[s] Capitalism” to “STFU” an acronym for shut the f-ck up.

“You’re not getting ‘robbed’ at the pump. You’re paying fair market price for a commodity. If you love Capitalism so much then STFU,” Norris wrote in a tweet.
More than 7,200 retweets and 66,000 likes garnered Norris’ tweet, while also garnering some pushback from people who pointed out that Norris is wealthy.
One person commented that that is “easy to say when you have a net worth of 5 mil.”
Norris’ social media post was triggered as Americans are seeing record-high gas prices.
According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of gas sits at more than $4.98. In California, where Norris lives, gas is the most expensive at an average of more than $6.40 per gallon.
Georgia is the place with the cheapest price for gas in the country, where Peach State residents are seeing an average price of around $4.48 per gallon.
AAA reported that the national average was $3.70 at this time, a year ago.
Before this year, the highest national gas price average ever recorded by AAA was $4.114 per gallon in July 2008.
In letters sent to seven refinery operators, including ExxonMobil and BP, President Joe Biden accused oil refiners of driving up gas prices.
“The sharp rise in gasoline prices is not driven only by rising oil prices, but by an unprecedented disconnect between the price of oil and the price of gas,” read the president’s letters.
Americans have been speaking out about the horrible gas prices and wondering if the president will do anything about it.
President Biden was out of touch, as usual, and welcomed record-high gas prices, exclaiming that the pain at the pump was part of the US economy’s “incredible transition” away from fossil fuels. Americans are not happy and many of them lashed out at Joe Biden and his failing administration.
“[When] it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,” Biden said at a press conference in Japan after meeting with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
Instead of raising petrol prices, the president said that his administration’s initiatives had been able to “keep it from getting worse — and it’s bad.”
Then only did Biden give lip service to the millions of Americans who have been forced to spend thousands of dollars more on gas, as reported.
“The price of gas at the pump is something that I told you — you heard me say before — it would be a matter of great discussion at my kitchen table when I was a kid growing up,” Biden remarked before admitting, “It’s affecting a lot of families.”
