In a world full of cancel culture, one actor is speaking out. Rob Schneider, the famous actor and comedian, said he is “absolutely” willing to lose everything for what he believes in. On an episode of “The Glenn Beck Podcast,” Schneider spoke with Glenn Beck and Beck asked Schneider point blank whether he was prepared for his beliefs to get him canceled and cost him everything. Beck asked him: “Are you willing to lose it all for what you believe?” Schneider reacted instantly as he did not even take a moment to think, saying: “Absolutely. Because if we don’t have…
Trump’s Truth Social is facing an obstacle. The app wasn’t approved by Google and is not available on the Google Play Store. According to Google, the Truth Social app does not have any effective means for moderating user-generated content. This is seen as a violation of the store’s terms of service. Truth Social was promoted by former President Donald Trump as a “free-speech” alternative to Twitter sometime after he was banned from the platform due to his tweets relating to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. In an attempt to block Congress from confirming Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential…
During the heat wave that’s expected to last through Labor Day, Californians will likely be asked to ease off on the air conditioning, and anything else that consumes electricity. Over the next several days, the California Independent System Operator, which manages the state’s power grid, warned that it probably will issue a series of Flex Alerts, in the hope to avoid blackouts. Flex Alerts are voluntary calls for conservation during the afternoon and evening hours when energy use tends to soar. The things the residents will be asked to do are to avoid using dishwashers or other large appliances, turn…
Elon Musk, co-founder and CEO of electric car manufacturer Tesla, told reporters at an energy conference in Norway that humanity needs rely on oil and gas “in the short term” or “civilization will crumble.” He has previously stated that a rise in oil and gas production would be harmful to the company, which is worth close to $900 billion. He once stated on Twitter, “Hate to say it, but we need to increase oil & gas output immediately,” The tweet was a reaction to both the sanctions imposed on Russia and the war in Ukraine. He added that the birth…
El Segundo Unified, a school district in Los Angeles, was made to pay $1 million after authorities there dismissed a teen’s bullying as typical adolescent drama brought on by a love triangle. The student, Eleri Olive Irons, had to deal with bullying for eight months in 2018 when she was 13 and 14. In April 2019, Eleri and her parents, Natalie and Christopher Irons, filed a lawsuit. According to the Irons’ attorneys, the El Segundo Unified School District said that principal Melissa Gooden was not accountable for the girl’s protection. Eleri suffered from PTSD that caused her to cut herself,…
A temporary restraining order imposed by federal judge Charlotte Sweeney prevents a Colorado county from banning the sale and production of certain high-capacity magazines and semi-automatic weapons. Sweeney, of the U.S. District Court, issued the order in the plaintiffs’ favor, Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, the National Association for Gun Rights, and local Martin Carter Kehoe, and against Boulder County. The county recently passed a law prohibiting the sale, transfer, and manufacture of “rapid-fire trigger activators,” “assault weapons,” and high-capacity magazines. It was not against the law for people to own any of the previously specified things. Sweeney referenced a recent…
Defendant Alec Baldwin is being sued again by the widow and sisters of a US Marine killed in Afghanistan during the chaotic 2021 military departure. They claim the actor exposed them to online vitriol following accusations he made against one of the women. They are seeking at least $25 million in damages. According to the New York Post, an initial complaint was filed by the family in Wyoming, but it was dismissed in May because the court has no jurisdiction over Baldwin, who is a resident of New York. A second complaint was filed by the family last Friday in…
Broward School Board Members Patricia Good, Donna Korn, Ann Murray, and Laurie Rich Levinson were suspended from office by Governor Ron DeSantis. Due to their “incompetence, neglect of duty, and misuse of authority,” the move followed recommendations of the Twentieth Statewide Grand Jury to suspend these board members. These suspensions are effective immediately. “Each committed malfeasance, misfeasance, neglect of duty, and incompetence” in handling a campus safety program, page five references the grand jury report. Lives could be saved at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School with a program the Governor stated. “Each hereby suspended from the public office that they…
Bill Barr, an ex-attorney general, blasted some conservatives for “pandering to outrage” following the dramatic FBI raid on ex-president Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. Barr further explained why he made that statement. Barr praised how the Department of Justice (DOJ) handled the raid in an episode of the “Honestly” podcast hosted by journalist Bari Weiss. However, he acknowledged that the politically motivated examination into Russian interference in the 2016 campaign for President Trump harmed people’s faith in federal law enforcement and “created the condition” for people to assume “the worst.” “So what do you say to conservatives who say, ‘Why should…
The lead pastor at the Village Church in Flower Mound, Tex., Matt Chandler, appeared to fight back tears as he told his congregation that he was taking a leave of absence. This was a move prompted by what his church’s leaders saw as inappropriate messages between him and a woman who is not his wife. Chandler explained that the leaders determined that the messages were not “romantic or s-xual.” “It was that our conversations were unguarded and unwise,” he said. About the nature of the messages, church officials went into scant detail with Chandler. Both his wife and the husband…
Joe Rogan, the so-called Spotify king, has been dethroned by actual royalty. Meghan Markle’s fresh new podcast, “Archetypes,” has reached number one on Spotify in the United States and six other countries. Since he launched “The Joe Rogan Experience” in May 2020, Rogan has had the most popular podcast on the platform. Rogan interviewed Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, in his most recent show. It’s unclear if Markle’s popularity will last after the dust settles. “Archetypes” did only top the Spotify charts in the US but also in Canada, the U.K., Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia. Archwell Audio and…
Where has he been? Apparently, Shia LaBeouf has revealed details about his spiritual journey into religion and is now opening up about it. The Transformers star participated in a 90-minute interview with Bishop Robert Barron and his Words on Fire series, which is streamed on YouTube. LaBeouf remembers turning to religion when his “life was on fire,” noting that he had always considered himself an agnostic who liked to argue but that he was “never an atheist.” “I was walking out of hell. It wasn’t like I willingly came in here on a white horse, singing showtunes,” he told Barron.…
With just a few days before classes begin, problems with heating and cooling in Ohio’s largest school system caused teachers across the state to continue their strike. The union says that poor conditioning is a contributing factor to the miserable classroom environment, because if the classrooms are overheated and humid, then pretty much everyone in them is miserable. As the Columbus Education Association and the Columbus City Schools Board of Education continued their standoff, union members hit the picket line for a second day. The negotiations are scheduled to resume on the afternoon of the first day of school after…
Nearing the finish line on a goal they once thought was impossible, 41-year-old Brad Ryan and his 92-year-old grandmother, Joy Ryan, will visit all 63 U.S. national parks together. In October 2015, when Brad was looking for a way to spend a three-day weekend during veterinary school, the duo from Duncan Falls, Ohio, actually kicked off their adventure. The idea was sparked by a conversation he had with “Grandma Joy” about his past adventures on the Appalachian Trail, he said. California has voted to ban the sale of new gas powered cars by the year 2035, as reported in a statement by The California Air Resources Board. California will require 35 percent of new vehicles, starting in 2026, to be either partially or fully electric. As for the plug-in hybrids, if they provide 70 miles or more of the electric-only range and comply with the other EV regulations, they will count the same as fully electric vehicles (EVs). Daniel Sperling, a California Air Resources Board member, told CNN that “This is monumental.” He continued, “this is the most important thing…
DHS has now disbanded the disinformation board just months after it was put on pause amid intense Republican-led backlash, the Department of Homeland Security has officially disbanded its controversial disinformation board. The department’s “Disinformation Governance Board” initiative was halted in May, after weeks of attacks, including those aimed at the disinformation expert appointed to lead the effort. It was intended by the board to coordinate department activities related to disinformation aimed at the US population and infrastructure, but it was formally terminated. DHS spokesperson Marsha Espinosa said in a statement that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas “has terminated the Disinformation…
The 13 American service members who died one year ago in the Abbey Gate terror attack in Kabul, Afghanistan, were remembered by President Joe Biden. Though he did not acknowledge the role he and his administration had in the chaotic and botched Afghanistan withdrawal, Biden called it a “heinous terrorist attack,” in a statement. “Our nation will forever mourn their sacrifice and honor the memory of those 13 precious souls, stolen from their families, loved ones, brothers- and sisters-in-arms far too soon while performing a noble mission on behalf of our Nation,” said Biden. He then continued, saying: “They were…
Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis mocked Dr. Fauci as ‘little elf’ and said that someone needs to “chuck him across the Potomac.” “I’m just sick of seeing him. I know he says he’s going to retire. Someone needs to grab that little elf and chuck him across the Potomac,” said the Florida Republican Governor. The comments by DeSantis were made during a Florida GOP “Keep Florida Free” event in Seminole County. Dr. Fauci will be stepping down in December as he announced. At the moment, he is President Biden’s chief medical adviser as well as the director of the National…
Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene mocked Joe Biden in public statement on Twitter. She told Joe Biden to “Go to hell” and had some other choice words in her statement. She has appeared to talk poorly of the student loan forgiveness, despite the fact that she apparently had $183,504 in PPP loans forgiven, taking a very large handout for herself but talking bad about others receiving similar treatment. https://twitter.com/WhiteHouse/status/1562916200866267138?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1562916200866267138%7Ctwgr%5Ed39e7f39302e9906a4ca7dab3e1506d7409a39d5%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fbyberry.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php%3Fpost%3D19502action%3Deditclassic-editor Along with the remark Greene made on Twitter, she also shared a video of Biden saying that he did not respect MAGA Republicans. In the clip the president said: “I don’t…
Employees are protesting against Apple’s return-to-work plans with a petition, claiming that a recent directive ordering many employees to return to the office at least three days a week may have a harmful impact on their well-being. Apple CEO Tim Cook reportedly instructed employees in the San Francisco Bay Area to report to work three days each week beginning on September 5. This was written in a memo that has recently been revealed. Workers will be asked to report to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays in addition to a third day that will be decided by individual teams. The memo…
