Fox News once again dominated the media competition, this time beating both CNN and MSNBC’s numbers combined. The November ratings were again topped by Fox News across dayparts and key demos, but MSNBC and CNN posted gains as the midterms dominated coverage. In primetime, Fox News averaged 2.44 million total viewers, which is down 6% from the same month a year earlier. MSNBC averaged 1.2 million viewers, which is up 10%. Gov. Noem’s recent executive order bans TikTok. The order prohibits the social media platform from being downloaded by contractors, government employees, and South Dakota agencies. Noem explained that it was the state’s duty to protect its citizens and that the action to keep private data safe had to be taken immediately. Argonne National Lab has recently revealed that 1.3 million battery electric vehicles were bought in the US between 2010 and 2021. Although this appears to be a large figure, it represents only a small percentage of the country’s 275+ million cars and truck fleet.
