The Information reported that with Activision, EA and Take-Two, Microsoft is also interested in acquiring WB Interactive and several game development studios under it. A few years ago my first kid was born. That meant no more 8 hour binges on Destiny to do raids with friends. No more random multiplayer matches. No more Madden night with the guys – everything changes when you have kids. Your focus is more on your child and less on yourself, and later, when they start getting a little older, you start coming back around to your old hobbies and finding more time for gaming. That first few times your child sleeps in, you catch a nap – then you realize, hey, I can get in a few…
Assassin’s Creed fans may be happy to watch the leaked Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay. AC fans will definitely be interested to see the gameplay footage. However, be warned that it is leaked. Hence the video quality is not up to par. Despite the bit of blurriness, the three videos condensed into one 30-minute video will make you excited. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla centers on the saga of Eivor. Eivor is a fierce Viking raider, and AC fans are invited…
Rapper Kanye West retracts his support for current U.S. President Donald Trump and his administration and now plans to run against him in the upcoming election. In his interview with Forbes, he summarized his sentiment, saying, “I am taking the red hat off, with this interview.” The fallout is confusing, considering West’s position as Trump’s celebrity backer and endorser. For West, he supported the president because he is the “closest president we’ve had in years to allowing God to still be part of the conversation.” That him wearing the MAGA was a “protest to the segregation of votes in the Black…
Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos, is pushing for schools to open and be “fully operational,” criticizing local districts’ plans that plan to offer in-person instruction a few days a week. By not opening schools or offering other alternatives, DeVos believes that it is a deliberate act to fail students and taxpayers. In the report by The Western Journal, DeVos gave comments during the call with governors. The Trump administration is also all for pushing the reopening of schools and colleges. The Associated Press was able to get their hands on the audio of that conversation. In that meeting, DeVos told the…
TikTok is undeniably one of the most popular apps, with nearly 1 billion active users to date. TikTok gave rise to many people who became celebrities, similar to that of the app Vine. Now, traditional celebrities and even famous brands such as PlayStation are premiering content on the platform. TikTok gained massive recognition, but soon, it may face its biggest challenge; the United States Government. GameRant reports Secretary Mike Pompeo’s recent appearance on Fox News. Pompeo suggested that TikTok, along with other Chinese developed social media apps, should be banned. In the report, Pompeo is said to now want to…
Former Vice President and current Democrat candidate, Joe Biden, is now supportive of redirecting some of the police budget towards social services. Last month he proposed an additional $300 million for police across the country, but he just recently said he supports redirecting some of the police funding towards other programs as well. The candidate joined Ady Barkan for a short interview and provided his quick response that included points on defunding police, police reform, and prison reform. Barkan posted the following to go with his video, “to make #BlackLivesMatter, we need to redirect money away from police departments into…

Thirsty for some zombie reveals? Well don’t get too excited as there isn’t much here – but it’s a little something to keep us going. And, casually remind us we won’t ever get Left 4 Dead 3. But hey, where one game stops, another picks it up, and Back 4 Blood will attempt to be the next hot FPS zombie shooter and they’ve given us a tiny preview. And when I say tiny, I’m not making jokes about manhood here. I’m just saying we finally got a sneak peak, but it was literally one screenshot. But hey, it’s better than…
Infinity Ward quietly removed the OK hand gesture on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. Eurogamer provides the analysis as to why the OK sign was removed. In September 2019, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) added the OK sign in a list of hate symbols. The ADL found out that some use the gesture as a “sincere expression of white supremacy.” In the past, 4Chan trolls pretended the sign had a hidden meaning to create controversy. However, this all ended when the OK sign was indeed used by movements, hence changing meaning. Eurogamer and Activision did not give any comments about…
Billionaire George Soros shows support towards the Democratic party as he doubles his 2016 election spending. Public records show that for the 2020 race, Soros has sent $40 million to the super PAC known as Democracy PAC. Once again, this shows his efforts to remove President Donald Trump from his position. The Washington Free Beacon reports Sorors’ significant investments and how it has all gone to the Democracy PAC. The Democracy PAC leads in collecting the money and passing it to other liberal PACS to defeat Trump and the congressional Republicans. Super PAC received $40 million, double the $20 million Soros…

Bet you didn’t expect to see Halo on Sports Center’s Facebook page, but here it is. Maybe they’re super bored with the lack of sports going on thanks to the you know what. Either way, when we were browsing FB for some sports, whatever there is these days, they had this Halo clip and I got all excited. The video is titled “Throwback Halo snipe clip” and it features the map Hang’em High from Halo CE. At first glance, you might not notice the first move the player makes because you’re looking in the distance to see who gets sniped.…
Everyone is having a good time, trying to win the latest round of whatever game you’re in. You’re finally using those new headphones and trying to hear if anyone is creeping around the corner on you. But your teammates. They. Are. Like. This.
If you were looking for the “Where is Xur” page on Facebook, but couldn’t find it, then let me explain why. Over the years we started playing some other games like Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield, and anything we can do to stop ourselves from playing Fortnite (because we stink at it). So now we’re changing names to TrendingViews which is an old website name I’ve had for 10+ years. I asked a few gamer friends what they thought and they loved it. We’re going to focus on all sorts of console games, a little bit of technology, and even…
A video showing what appears to be Tom Cruise in a campaign video, running across a desert and listing a lot of his movies is making rounds on social media and now people think he’s running for president. The video in question really does look like Tom Cruise, but it’s actually a comedian/impersonator named Miles Fisher, who made the video as a comedy short. To be fair, they did a very good job of making this video very believable. However, Tom Cruise is officially NOT running for president. “This video does not feature the real Tom Cruise, nor is it…
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s update causes an uproar after patch 1.23.0 turns out to be bigger than a lot of people’s personal computer hard drives. Before, ByBerry reported on the 84GB update file that had Activision start an investigation. Now, with Modern Warfare’s patch 1.23.0, it is obviously intended to be that way. The 84GB update is small compared to the update now. Yes, Modern Warfare’s patch 1.23.0 is 200GB. That’s bigger than some computer hard drives. Not only that, but the uncompressed update file will not even fit a 25- GB SSD. Under Reddit’s r/pcgaming, vanillaricethrowaway posted a screenshot of…
On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” “2020 Politics War Room,” co-host James Carville repeats his prediction last week and delves on it. His theory? President Donald Trump could drop out of the presidential race before November. In the article by MarketWatch, the Democratic strategist suggested that Republican senators will try to distance themselves from the current president this fall. The senators he stated included Mitch McConnell (R-Ky), Matha McSally (R-Ariz), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), and Dan Sullivan (R-Ark.) In a sarcastic note, Carville proclaimed, “This is the great ‘Moscow Mitch’ strategy. ‘After Labor Day,’ we’re going to turn on him.’ That’s really going to…
This Wednesday, Senate Democrats presented a proposal to extend the enhanced unemployment benefits. This action plan will occur until a drop in a state-s unemployment rate happens when it would phase out. In the news article by CNBC, Congress approved the additional $600 per week in federal unemployment insurance last March. The addition is on top of what the state will most likely provide. This addition is a part of the $2 trillion pandemic rescue package. Millions of workers who lost their jobs received money through the policy. However, the policy will expire at the end of the month as the…
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Pentagon informed the public of President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw U.S. military personnel from Germany. The withdrawn troops will be redeployed elsewhere. However, the specifics on where they would be deployed have not been relayed. CNBC reported Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman’s speech. Hoffman said, “The Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff briefed the President yesterday on plans to redeploy 9,500 troops from Germany. The proposal that was approved not only meets the President’s directive. It will also enhance Russian deterrence, strengthen NATO, reassure Allies, improve U.S. strategic flexibility…
